Filinvest Hospitality has appointed Francis Gotianun as chief executive officer and James Montenegro as president and chief operating officer, ushering in a new leadership chapter as the group accelerates its push across the Philippine hospitality landscape.
The transition reflects the company’s focus on sustained growth, tighter operational execution, and the continued refinement of its portfolio of hotels, resorts, and destination driven concepts nationwide. As travel demand rebounds and competition intensifies, scale and brand clarity have become critical.
Newly appointed First Vice President Ria Sarrosa will oversee hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring service standards and guest experiences remain consistent across properties.
Filinvest Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Filinvest Development Corporation, manages a diverse portfolio that includes Crimson Hotels and Resorts, Quest Hotels and Resorts, and Grafik Hotel Collection. The group operates in key urban and leisure destinations such as Mactan, Boracay, Clark, Cebu, Tagaytay, Rizal, and Filinvest City, positioning itself to capture both corporate and resort travel segments.
Dining has emerged as a major differentiator. Enye has earned recognition from the Michelin Guide, while Aka and Azure Beach Club continue to draw loyal followings. In Boracay, Mosaic Latin Grill was recently named Best Restaurant in the Island at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2026. Homegrown concepts such as Baker J, Firehouse Pizza and Alibi Lounge and Bar further strengthen the group’s culinary identity.
Beyond rooms and restaurants, Filinvest Hospitality is expanding its lifestyle portfolio. Mimosa Plus Golf Course anchors its premium golf offering, while Aum Spa delivers wellness programs across Crimson properties. The Timberland Mountain Bike Park extends the brand into outdoor adventure tourism.
Announced during a media luncheon at Firehouse Pizza in Quest Plus Conference Center Manila, the leadership shift signals a clear direction. Filinvest Hospitality aims to evolve from a hotel operator into a curator of integrated leisure experiences rooted in thoughtful design and warm Filipino service.
