Digital bank GoTyme Bank has signed a partnership with Maxicare Healthcare Corporation to handle the distribution of professional fees to Maxicare-affiliated doctors.
Under the agreement, GoTyme Bank will serve as Maxicare’s official banking partner for paying doctors. The move aims to modernize how medical professionals receive their fees by providing a secure and faster payment option through the bank’s digital platform.
Maxicare said the partnership will make it easier for doctors to access their earnings, helping them focus more on patient care instead of administrative concerns.
To support the rollout, GoTyme Bank and Maxicare have launched roadshows in major hospitals to assist doctors in opening accounts and receiving their Visa debit cards. GoTyme kiosks have been set up in key Maxicare-affiliated hospitals, including St. Luke’s Medical Center (Quezon City and BGC), Makati Medical Center, VRP Medical Center, and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
These on-site services allow doctors to get hands-on help and immediate access to banking services. So far, around 2,000 doctors have signed up, with GoTyme Bank targeting an additional 20,000 doctors in the coming months.
The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony at GoTyme Bank’s headquarters, attended by executives from both organizations. Both companies said the tie-up reflects a shared goal of strengthening financial support for healthcare professionals nationwide.
