EastWest hosts feng shui–inspired economic briefings for clients ahead of 2026

East West Banking Corp. recently held a series of client events in Pampanga and Metro Manila to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, combining economic insights and feng shui guidance to help clients plan for 2026.

The gatherings brought together customers from the bank’s retail, priority, and corporate segments. Speakers shared perspectives on market trends and strategies to help clients strengthen wealth management plans and make informed financial decisions.

Economist Bernardo Villegas of the University of Asia and the Pacific said the Philippines is expected to post moderate but steady economic growth despite fast-changing global conditions. He highlighted emerging opportunities for businesses and investors amid shifting markets.

EastWest president Jackie S. Fernandez said the bank aims to serve as a stable partner for clients navigating a rapidly evolving economic landscape.

To further support clients, the bank also announced a partnership with the University of Asia and the Pacific to produce the Economic Watch newsletter, which will provide regular updates on market trends and financial insights.

During the events, feng shui expert Patrick Fernandez shared guidance on how individuals can align their plans with the energetic and fast-moving qualities associated with the Year of the Fire Horse. His advice focused on staying proactive, managing opportunities wisely, and maintaining balance in financial decisions.

EastWest senior executive vice president and Financial Markets and Wealth Management head Raffy Algarra said the bank remains committed to equipping clients with insights and services that support long-term financial well-being.

The bank’s wealth management services recently earned international recognition at the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards 2025, including honors for client experience and advisory services, reflecting its efforts to provide trusted financial guidance.
