Jollibee posts record fourth-quarter income, strong 2025 results

Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) reported a record operating income in the fourth quarter of 2025, helping the fast-food giant close the year with solid growth in both its Philippine and international businesses.

The company said fourth-quarter operating income reached ₱4.1 billion, up 41.9 percent from a year earlier—the highest fourth-quarter operating income in its history. Revenue for the quarter rose 9.8 percent to ₱80.9 billion.

For the full year 2025, JFC posted ₱305.1 billion in revenue, a 13 percent increase, while operating income grew 19.3 percent to ₱20.1 billion. Net income attributable to shareholders rose 5.4 percent to ₱10.9 billion.

Company chief executive Ernesto Tanmantiong said the strong performance was driven by steady consumer demand and growth across JFC’s brands in the Philippines and overseas markets.

System-wide sales for 2025 climbed 16.6 percent to ₱455.1 billion. Sales in the Philippine market grew 9.6 percent, led by major brands including Jollibee, Chowking, and Mang Inasal.

International operations expanded even faster, with system-wide sales increasing 27 percent. Strong growth was reported in markets such as Vietnam and North America, as well as coffee brands like Highlands Coffee and Compose Coffee.

JFC also expanded aggressively in 2025, opening 1,126 new stores, the largest number of annual store openings in the company’s history. This brought its total store network to 10,341 outlets worldwide.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose 13.8 percent to ₱41.8 billion for the year.

Looking ahead, JFC expects system-wide sales to grow 8–12 percent in 2026, with operating income projected to rise 15–18 percent. The company plans to open 1,200 to 1,300 new stores this year.

The board also approved a cash dividend of ₱10.60125 per share for Series B preferred shareholders, payable on April 15, 2026.

Separately, JFC announced plans to expand its presence in the hot pot restaurant segment through the acquisition of Korean franchise operator All Day Fresh Co., Ltd., which runs the Shabu All Day chain.
