PLDT Global Corporation has introduced a new digital remittance feature called ePadala under its Tindahan ni Bossing (TinBo) platform, aimed at helping overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) send money home more quickly and easily.
The service is now available to Filipinos working in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, two of the largest hubs for OFWs. It allows users to send digital cash-in vouchers directly to their families’ bank or e-wallet accounts in the Philippines.
Using the TinBo app or website, users can transfer funds anytime, avoiding the need to visit remittance centers. The service is designed for OFWs with busy schedules, offering a faster and more convenient way to provide financial support.
The vouchers can be redeemed through more than 20 banks and e-wallet platforms in the Philippines, giving recipients immediate access to funds for daily expenses, education, healthcare, and emergencies.
PLDT Global president and CEO Albert Villa-Real said the launch supports financial inclusion and provides a secure way for Filipinos abroad to send money home, especially in challenging situations.
