Carelon Global Solutions Philippines surged to third place in the 2026 Best Workplaces in the Philippines list by Great Place To Work, a sharp rise from ninth last year, underscoring its accelerating push to elevate employee experience and business capability.
The recognition was announced March 19 during an awards ceremony at Conrad Manila, where top employers were honored for fostering high-trust, high-performance cultures.
The annual ranking—based on employee trust, engagement, and workplace satisfaction—highlights Carelon’s progress in strengthening its organizational culture while advancing more complex, higher-value work under the large company category.
The shift reflects a broader strategy to move beyond traditional service roles toward specialized, knowledge-driven functions.
The company’s efforts come as global labor trends evolve. A recent report by the International Labour Organization points to rising informal employment worldwide, often marked by weaker job security and limited social protection—making stable, quality workplaces increasingly critical.
“Given the various industry headwinds we’ve faced, the company has since made it a point to be on the frontier of expanding capabilities, upskilling employees, and elevating the quality of work,” said Nicki Agcaoili, chief country executive. “We also talk to our people directly and regularly to know how best to take care of them and provide what they need to be the best version of themselves.”
Carelon supports its workforce with benefits such as meal subsidies, round-the-clock clinics, and transportation allowances, alongside programs that promote inclusion, internal mobility, and opportunities for senior workers.
Recent recognition at the Asian Management Excellence Awards further reinforces the company’s focus on talent development, innovation, and inclusive growth—key drivers behind its climb in this year’s workplace rankings.
