BSP keeps Friday services open despite energy-saving push

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said it will keep providing public services on Fridays while supporting government efforts to conserve energy.

Cash operations at BSP offices—including the Head Office in Manila, the Security Plant Complex in Quezon City, and regional branches nationwide—will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The BSP will also continue handling onsite transactions related to its acquired real properties, as well as receiving physical mail and documents from the public at the BSP Hub in Manila on Fridays.

For customer concerns, the BSP Online Buddy (BOB) chatbot will remain available 24/7 through the BSP website, Facebook Messenger, and mobile app to receive complaints about BSP-supervised institutions. Complaints may also be sent via email to consumeraffairs@bsp.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, the BSP Store will continue to accept orders for commemorative coins and other merchandise through its online platform.
