The Jollibee Group has expanded its employment program for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) through a new partnership with the Baguio City Government.
The agreement was formalized on March 5, 2026, led by Benjamin Magalong and company executives. Under the program, qualified seniors and PWDs can work as Customer Relations Staff in selected Jollibee Group stores, including Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, and Burger King across the city.
Participants will take on roles such as order presentation, drink service, table management, and guest relations in 12 participating stores.
Launched in 2019, the program has provided jobs to over 1,000 seniors and PWDs nationwide. After pausing during the pandemic, it resumed expansion in 2023 and recorded 451 hires in 2025.
The Baguio partnership adds to similar collaborations with other local government units and supports the company’s “Joy for Tomorrow” sustainability agenda, which promotes inclusive workplaces.
Jollibee Group officials said the initiative aims to provide meaningful and dignified work opportunities. The city government also awarded the Key to the City to Chief Human Resources Officer Ruth B. Angeles in recognition of the partnership.
