Delivery Hero Logistics Philippines Inc., the company behind Foodpanda Philippines, announced on Tuesday that its online grocery service Pandamart is now operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week across the country. This makes Pandamart the first online-only full grocery platform in the Philippines to offer round-the-clock service.
The move responds to growing consumer demand for instant delivery, as shoppers increasingly expect groceries beyond next-day fulfillment. By operating 24/7, Pandamart aims to serve customers during late-night and early-morning hours, a period underserved by traditional stores.
The service relies on a network of “dark stores”—distribution centers dedicated solely to online orders—and is already available in major cities including Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao. Unlike typical convenience stores that focus on snacks and quick items, Pandamart provides a full supermarket inventory, including fresh produce, meats, seafood, and bulk household essentials.
Joseph Wijesekara, director for Q-Commerce at Foodpanda Philippines, said the goal is to combine convenience, affordability, and quality. “Whether it’s fruits and vegetables at 3 PM or 3 AM, Pandamart is ready to deliver,” he added.
