Globe expands 5G network across Rizal province

Telecommunications company Globe Telecom has expanded its 5G network and upgraded mobile infrastructure across Rizal Province to improve connectivity for residents, businesses, and tourists.

The rollout, accelerated in 2025, covers key areas including Antipolo City, Cainta, Taytay, San Mateo, Binangonan, and several other municipalities. Improvements aim to deliver faster speeds, more reliable connections, and better coverage in residential areas, business centers, tourist spots, and transport routes.

Rizal’s economy grew by about 5.9 percent in 2024, driven by expanding commerce and tourism. Popular destinations in towns like Tanay and Baras continue to attract visitors, increasing demand for strong mobile data services.

Globe said its 5G expansion will support online learning, remote work, digital payments, and business operations, while improving user experience for streaming, gaming, and video calls.

The company also highlighted recognition from Ookla, which named Globe the country’s most consistent mobile and fixed network provider in the second half of 2025 and cited it for having the widest 5G coverage nationwide.

To make services more accessible, Globe is offering data promos such as GO+99, UNLI 5G 50, and TM EasySURF 50 5G, targeting different types of mobile users.

Globe said the network expansion supports Rizal’s continued growth as a center for business, tourism, and modern communities, while helping more people stay connected in an increasingly digital environment.
