AirAsia moving international flights to NAIA Terminal 1

AirAsia Philippines and Malaysia AirAsia will transfer all international flights from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 beginning March 29, 2026.
The move is part of efforts by the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation to improve airport efficiency and passenger experience, especially ahead of the expected surge in travelers during Holy Week.
Starting on this date, all international AirAsia flights—including check-in, boarding, and baggage claim—will operate at Terminal 1. Flights scheduled before March 29 will still depart from Terminal 3. Domestic flights will remain at Terminal 2.
AirAsia Philippines said the change will make transfers easier, as international and domestic terminals will be closer to each other, helping passengers with connecting flights.
To assist travelers, a free 24-hour shuttle service will run between Terminals 1, 2, and 3 every 15 to 30 minutes. A special shuttle for misrouted passengers will also be available starting the night of March 28.
The airline has added staff and opened round-the-clock check-in counters to handle increased passenger volume. Travelers are advised to arrive early and confirm their terminal details before heading to the airport.
