Clark Motorsports Hotel spurs experiential tourism investment

A planned P1.5-billion boutique hotel inside the Clark International Speedway is set to anchor a new wave of investments in the Philippines’ fast-growing experiential tourism segment, combining hospitality with motorsports-driven attractions.

The project—developed through a partnership between the Clark Development Corp. and Kilton Motor Corp.—aims to position Clark as a destination where leisure, business, and high-performance driving intersect.

Beyond traditional accommodations, the hotel will feature immersive offerings such as professional racing programs, curated automotive showcases, and precision car-building experiences.

The development is expected to create 77 full-time jobs while opening employment opportunities for residents of Brgy. Macapagal Village, supporting inclusive growth alongside ongoing infrastructure expansion in the Freeport.

It also bolsters Clark’s push to strengthen its Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) portfolio, introducing a differentiated, lifestyle-oriented asset that aligns with evolving traveler preferences.

Agnes Devanadera, president and CEO of Clark Development Corporation, cited sustained investor interest as a key driver of the area’s transformation. “Our investors continue to come, whether new or old. This is why we give so much importance to our investors,” she said.

For Johnny Tan, the project reflects a forward-looking strategy to capture demand for experience-led travel. “This mission is to fuse world-class hospitality with the thrill of motorsports,” he said.

As global tourism trends increasingly favor immersive, activity-based destinations, the Clark motorsports hotel underscores how targeted investments can unlock new demand segments—enhancing the Freeport’s competitiveness while redefining Philippine tourism beyond traditional sun-and-beach offerings.
