BPI, Petron launch credit card with fuel rebates for motorists

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is offering motorists a way to save on fuel through its Petron BPI Mastercard, which provides rebates and flexible payment options.

Cardholders can get a 3 percent fuel rebate every time they fill up at Petron stations nationwide. The program allows users to earn up to ₱15,000 in rebates per year, helping offset rising fuel costs.

Newly approved cardholders will also receive a ₱200 Petron fuel voucher, which can be used on their next purchase.

In addition to fuel savings, the card offers payment flexibility, including installment options and access to cash, along with standard credit card security features.

“Fuel remains an essential expense for many Filipinos,” said Alma Aldip of BPI, noting that the card is designed to help customers manage everyday spending while maximizing value from fuel purchases.

BPI said the offering is part of its broader effort to provide practical financial tools as mobility remains important for work, business, and daily life.
