Infobip launches AI-powered AgentOS platform

Global communications company Infobip has introduced a new platform called AgentOS to help businesses automate customer interactions and manage communications more efficiently.

The system builds on the company’s earlier AI Agents technology, enabling automated and coordinated communication across channels such as SMS, messaging apps, email, and voice.

The launch comes as Infobip marks its 20th anniversary and reflects a wider trend among Southeast Asian companies adopting artificial intelligence to improve customer service and operations.

Infobip is expanding its presence in the Philippines, working with major local clients including SM Supermalls, Cebu Pacific, Security Bank, and PLDT to modernize customer engagement.

According to Guray Ozturk, head of customer growth, many companies in the region face challenges in deploying AI due to disconnected systems. He said AgentOS addresses this by offering a unified platform where AI tools can manage communications seamlessly.

AgentOS also includes a “human-in-the-loop” approach, allowing human experts to oversee complex interactions and improve system performance while AI handles large-scale automation.

The platform marks Infobip’s shift from a traditional communications provider to an AI-driven system focused on automated, goal-oriented customer engagement.
