SM Investments Corporation is strengthening how it communicates with stakeholders through its online platform, SM In Focus, which has gained over 137,000 subscribers and more than 2.5 million views since launching in late 2024.
The company said the platform is part of its effort to improve transparency and make information about its businesses—covering retail, property, and banking—more accessible and easier to understand.
SM In Focus shares updates on the group’s performance, innovations, and overall impact using digital channels for faster and more organized communication.
Rico Hizon, the platform’s host and creator, said it helps present SM’s activities in a clear and consistent way.
The initiative also encourages participation from employees across different business units, helping align communication within the organization. Elizabeth Anne “Lizanne” Uychaco, SM Investments Executive Vice President and Executive Producer of the platform, said this approach improves collaboration and strengthens how the company shares its strategy and results.
So far, SM In Focus has produced over 440 videos and reached more than 14,000 watch hours, showing steady audience engagement.
SM said the platform supports its goal of a more connected and data-driven communication strategy as the company continues to grow.
