St. Luke’s Quezon City adds advanced surgical imaging system

St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City has introduced the O-arm® Surgical Imaging System, a new technology designed to improve accuracy in orthopedic and spine surgeries.

The system provides real-time 3D images during operations, allowing surgeons to clearly see bones and surrounding structures. This helps them perform procedures with greater precision.

Hospital officials said the upgrade supports their goal of delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.

Patients are expected to benefit in several ways. The technology allows for more accurate placement of implants, reduces the risk of complications, and can shorten surgery and recovery time. It also helps produce more consistent results, lowering the chances of needing repeat procedures.

With the addition of the O-arm® system, St. Luke’s aims to enhance safety and improve outcomes for patients undergoing complex surgeries.
