Mead Johnson, a United Kingdom-based nutrition company, is relocating its Philippine headquarters to Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig City, underscoring continued demand for premium office space from multinational firms.
The move will see Mead Johnson occupy space at the newly completed Uptown Eastgate tower as it consolidates operations with Reckitt Philippines. Reckitt is known globally for health, hygiene, and nutrition brands such as Lysol, Strepsils, Durex, Veet, and infant nutrition lines including Enfamil, Lactum, and Sustagen.
With the transfer, Mead Johnson joins a growing roster of global firms that have established operations within the township, including JPMorganChase, Google, Tesla, and Coca-Cola. The clustering of multinational companies highlights Uptown Bonifacio’s emergence as a preferred business address in Metro Manila, particularly for shared services and regional headquarters.
Megaworld Corp., the township’s developer, said the shift reflects demand for integrated urban environments that combine office, residential, and commercial components. “Uptown Bonifacio continues to attract the world’s biggest companies because it offers a complete ecosystem for success,” said Francis Roxas, head of Megaworld Global Offices, citing the development’s focus on connectivity, sustainability, and modern workspace standards.
The 31-story Uptown Eastgate, a LEED Gold-certified building, offers around 100,000 square meters of gross leasable space, including large floor plates designed for multinational occupiers. Its features cater to firms seeking scalable and efficient office setups amid evolving workplace requirements.
Uptown Bonifacio currently hosts more than 30 local and multinational firms employing over 60,000 professionals across seven office towers. Within Bonifacio Global City, Megaworld remains the largest office landlord, with close to 900,000 square meters of office space under management.
The company’s leasing performance reflects this momentum. Office revenues reached P14.9 billion in 2025, up 11 percent, while transaction volumes hit 162,000 square meters, driven by expansions from business process outsourcing firms and multinational companies.
