Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) is intensifying its efforts to support sari-sari stores, rolling out a technology-enabled distribution strategy aimed at directly empowering millions of Filipino micro-entrepreneurs.
The company underscored the critical role of sari-sari stores in the country’s economy, describing them as lifelines for communities and a primary source of income for many families. PCPPI said it is placing these small retailers at the forefront of its long-term growth plans.
PCPPI president and CEO Phyo Phyu Noe stressed that the new system ensures store owners receive full access to company promotions, competitive pricing, and service support—without gaps in delivery.
“Every visit to a sari-sari store must translate to real value,” she said, highlighting how technology is being used to guarantee that discounts and benefits reach retailers directly.
The initiative is expected to significantly boost efficiency and competitiveness among small store owners, many of whom are women, especially as they navigate rising costs and changing consumer behavior.
Amid tighter household budgets, PCPPI also emphasized that affordability will not come at the expense of product quality, pointing instead to operational efficiency as the key driver.
With the move, PCPPI is signaling a stronger commitment to grow alongside grassroots retailers, reinforcing its role not just as a beverage manufacturer but as a long-term partner to neighborhood businesses across the Philippines.
