IGF, Silid Aralan partner to boost fundraising

Initiate Global Foundation Inc. (IGF) and Silid Aralan Inc. have formalized a partnership aimed at strengthening nonprofit fundraising through digital platforms, as organizations seek more sustainable funding sources in an increasingly competitive donor landscape.

Under the agreement, Silid Aralan will tap iGive, IGF’s donation-based crowdfunding platform, to expand its reach and attract more supporters. The initiative addresses a persistent challenge among nonprofits: converting strong public willingness to help into consistent financial contributions.

IGF, the sustainability arm of Initiate PH, operates as a social fintech enterprise focused on enabling accessible and transparent fundraising. While Initiate PH is in the process of securing a secondary license from the Securities and Exchange Commission for debt and equity crowdfunding, IGF said it is already fully registered and compliant with national regulations.

Silid Aralan, known for delivering education programs in underserved communities, is expected to benefit from increased visibility through the platform. The partnership is seen supporting initiatives such as student learning programs, teacher training, and community development projects.

IGF President and Chief Operating Officer Giovanni B. Velo said the collaboration is designed to deepen cooperation across organizations while improving fundraising outcomes.

Meanwhile, Silid Aralan founder Arcie G. Mallari said the partnership would enable the group to reach a broader donor base and meet funding targets more effectively.

IGF added it is encouraging other nonprofits to adopt digital crowdfunding tools to enhance donor engagement, improve transparency, and build long-term financial sustainability.
