The Bureau of Treasury awarded in full the entire P30 billion worth of government bonds it offered at the auction Monday.
The reissued 10-year T-bond due 10 January 2029 has a remaining term of 5 years and 3 months, which has a coupon of 6.875 percent.
The auction committee reissued the bond at an average rate of 6.512 percent.
The auction was 1.4 times oversubscribed with total tenders reaching P40.8 billion. As a result, the total outstanding volume for the series to P355.0 billion.
Yield on long-term debt papers remain relatively stable compared to treasury bills, whose yields have risen given the prospects of further monetary tightening of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas due to rising inflation.
