    PLDT trunkline allows Pasay City Hall more efficient handling of constituent concerns

    PLDT Enterprise, the business arm of PLDT Inc., has partnered with the City Government of Pasay under a hotline program streamlining communication between the city and its residents.

    The 888-PASAY or 888-72729 trunkline will be staffed by the Pasay City Public Information Office (PIO) tasked with handling inquiries and directing callers to the appropriate department. The system will also feature advanced call-routing technology to ensure prompt and efficient handling of calls.

    The new system replaces the multiple phone numbers for the various city hall departments with a single access point for all citizen inquiries, concerns, and requests. The goal is to provide a more efficient and responsive communication channel that ensures faster and more direct access to the services Pasay residents need.

    “We are proud to partner with the City Government of Pasay and Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano in strengthening communications in their city through relevant PLDT Enterprise digital products and solutions,” Mitch Locsin, first vice president and head of Enterprise and International Core Business at PLDT and Smart, said.

    “Together with the City Government of Pasay, we are committed to enabling the city to further level up the delivery of its services to their constituents,” he added.

    Mayor Calixto-Rubiano said the new system will significantly improve the city’s ability to serve its constituents.

    ”It will allow us to respond to their needs more quickly and effectively, ultimately making lives easier and more convenient,” she added.
