Companies looking to raise funds by going public stand to gain from a learning program that will have its inaugural session on Monday, March 2, 2023 at the Philippine Stock Exchange premises.
The PSE LIST, short for learn IPO strategies and tactics, is exclusive to companies under the PSE’s listing engagement and assistance program who are eligible and are prepared to conduct an initial public offering.
The masterclass will cover topics such as IPO registration process and procedures, and due diligence and compliance requirements, among others.
Resource speakers include PSE issuer regulation division head Marigel B. Garcia, Securities and Exchange Commission director Vicente Graciano P. Felizmenio Jr. and Fund Managers Association of the Philippines board of senior adviser Frederico Rafael D. Ocampo.
Cebu Landmasters Inc. president and CEO Jose R. Soberano III will share experiences on preparing for an IPO, transitioning from privately-owned to publicly-listed as well as post-IPO responsibilities.
“The PSE LIST is designed for companies who may start the paper work on their listing applications anytime. We want the officers of these companies to be better equipped during the IPO application process by getting pertinent information directly from the regulators,” PSE president and CEO Ramon S. Monzon said.
The program will be conducted in small groups throughout the year on a continuing basis for companies under PSE LEAP, essentially is a marketing program focused on assisting interested and potential IPO listing applicants.
The program provides clients handholding guidance via one-on-one advisory sessions, access to online pre-listing assessment tools, and assistance in connecting potential clients to seasoned IPO advisors.
The services under LEAP are free of charge. Over 40 companies are registered with the program.
