More than a year since House of Investments sold a substantial stake in EEI Corp., the new owners appear yet-to-complete the reorganization of the listed construction company.
In a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange on Friday, EEI reported that its board has approved changes in some of the key managerial positions, including those of the commercial and operations division, and its financial office.
EEI said Violy Acevedo, now vice president and controller, will take over as chief financial officer to replace Cris Noel Torres, who has resigned for personal reasons. She will assume her new post as CFO on September 30.
Acevedo will be replaced as controller by Jonas Redublo, now assistant vice president for finance.
Anna Figueroa, a senior vice president for the commercial and contracts division, has been appointed to head the commercial and operations division.
Victor Perez, currently vice president for the Treasury and Logistics Department, has been appointed as managing director of subsidiaries.
Even with the new appointment, Perez will continue as head of the logistics department, while Jocelyn Dimailig, now group manager for treasury, will take over from Perez as head of treasury.
Earl Jason Vistro, senior vice president for Supply Chain Management Division, Safety, Security, and Facilities Management Department will be given the additional duty as head of Government Relations and External Affairs.
Maureen Frias, category management and strategic sourcing head of the Supply Chain and Management Division, was promoted to Head of Supply Chain and Management Division.
The Business Development Department headed by Toni Venette Picar, vice president, will now be the Corporate Finance and New Business Development head.
The House of Investments Inc. sold its 14.35 percent stake in EEI early last year to
Industry Holdings and Development Corp. of the Chua Group after divesting itself of a 20 percent stake in the listed firm in favor of RYM Business Management Corp. of the Romualdez Group.
Changes in senior management, including the appointment of a new president, followed after the change in ownership.
