Quiboloy faces accusers at Senate hearing

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, was finally confronted by his accusers at the hearing on Wednesday at the Senate committee on women headed by Senator Risa Hontiveros. Quiboloy, a close ally of former President Rodrigo Duterte, is accused of abusing women and human trafficking. He has denied the accusations and, in a short interview with journalists, called the Senate hearings unfair and “like a trial by publicity.”
