Duterte, De Lima faceoff expected at Senate probe

Former President Rodrigo Duterte and former Senator Leila de Lima, who was imprisoned on drug-related charges during his presidency, are expected to face off when the Senate begins its probe on the previous administration’s bloody “War on Drugs” on Monday, October 28. Duterte and De Lima have confirmed their attendance as resource persons, according to Senate Minority Leader Koko Pimentel. During the House QuadCom hearings, testimonies revealed that police were rewarded for extrajudicial killings in the name of the “War on Drugs.”
