From 6 to 7 November this year, top government officials and prominent business leaders will gather in Makati City to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Stratbase Group under the “Pilipinas Conference” event. This two-day event aims to address strategic initiatives for a resilient economy and the creation of sustainable jobs.
Key speakers include Finance Secretary Ralph Recto, Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla, and Environment Secretary Antonia Yulo Loyzaga, alongside business leaders such as Ayala Corporation Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala and Meralco PowerGen Corporation CEO Emmanuel Rubio.
Stratbase Group president Dindo Manhit emphasized the conference’s goal of fostering collaboration among government, business, and civil society to tackle geopolitical and economic challenges facing the Philippines by 2025. He said the first day will address security challenges in the Indo-Pacific, while the second will focus on sustainable economic development.
“The 2024 Pilipinas Conference is a call to action for all invested in the country’s future,” Manhit said, highlighting the importance of a unified approach to securing the Philippines’ position in the global economy.
