USAF sends A-10 Warthogs to Clark for training

The U.S. Air Force sent A-10 Thunderbolt IIs, also known as Warthogs, to Clark Air Base at the weekend for a 10-day integrated training with the Philippine Air Force, enhancing both pilots’ and maintenance teams’ skills. The joint training, said USAF, fosters improved interoperability and strengthens the enduring bond between the U.S. and the Philippines in the Indo-Pacific region. The training also highlights the allies shared commitment to regional stability, especially with the growing tension in the West Philippine Sea that poses a risk to regional security and global trade.
