Berde Renewables Inc., a renewable energy company backed by I Squared Capital, has announced a strategic joint venture with Power Systems and Solutions Co. Ltd. (PSS), a leading renewable energy developer and EPC with extensive experience in Thailand. This collaboration is set to accelerate the clean energy transition in Thailand and the broader Asia-Pacific region, focusing on the development and deployment of solar photovoltaic, battery storage, and hybrid energy solutions.
The joint venture starts with 18.9 MWp of operational assets, 30 MWp under construction, and 170 MWp in the pipeline. Over the next three years, the partnership aims to develop, own, and operate 300 MW of renewable energy projects. This combined effort will leverage Berde Renewables’ cutting-edge technologies and PSS Group’s deep market expertise in engineering, oil and gas, power, and renewables.
The partnership seeks to meet growing demand for sustainable power across industrial, commercial, and grid-scale applications in the region, offering integrated solutions that enhance energy efficiency and extend the lifespan of key infrastructures.
