SGV & Co., the Philippines’ largest accounting firm, has announced the appointment of Rossana A. Fajardo as the new country managing partner, effective 1 July. Fajardo succeeds Wilson P. Tan, who held the role since January 2020 and has extensive experience in financial audits for major industries such as banking, infrastructure, telecommunications, and power generation.
Fajardo, who has been with SGV since 1988, brings a wealth of leadership experience across various areas including business and digital transformation, technology risk, and organizational change. She has held key positions within SGV and its global affiliate, EY, including SGV consulting leader and EY Asean business consulting leader.
As the new country managing partner, Fajardo will lead SGV’s strategy for sustainable growth, focusing on enhancing revenue, operational excellence, and client delivery. Her extensive background includes serving clients across sectors such as telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, and public service.
Fajardo is also a passionate advocate for women in leadership, heading initiatives such as the EY Women in Technology program and the Philippine EY STEM Girls program, aimed at promoting STEM careers to young girls. She holds various certifications, including CPA and Certified Information Systems Auditor, and has completed advanced management programs from prestigious institutions like the London Business School and Kellogg School of Management.
