Globe powers digital shift with enterprise-wide AI integration

Telecom giant Globe is accelerating its digital transformation by embedding artificial intelligence (AI) across key operations—from hiring and risk management to network optimization and marketing—underscoring its strategy to future-proof the business and enhance commercial performance.

Citing the global shift in work patterns, Globe president and CEO Carl Cruz said that AI is enabling the company to “elevate decisions, improve responsiveness, and deliver real impact.” At the core of this transformation is AI’s ability to cut process times, boost accuracy, and scale operations efficiently—contributing to both cost savings and better customer experiences.

A key example is Globe’s Human Resources unit, which has fully rolled out the AI-powered HireVue platform across the company after a successful pilot. The system dramatically shortened the hiring cycle and improved candidate evaluation, earning Globe the 2025 Impact Star Award at the HireVue Customer Excellence Awards.

In risk management, AI tools have streamlined data analysis, producing faster, more actionable insights while reducing human bias. Meanwhile, Globe’s Network Group uses AI for predictive maintenance, coding automation, and sustainability initiatives—such as energy-saving via the EdgeWise platform.

Globe’s marketing teams also benefit from AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Canva Magic Studio, enhancing both content creation and internal communication.

As of Q1 2025, Globe had deployed 235 new 5G sites, with AI playing a central role in network expansion, operational oversight, and customer service improvements. “We use technology with empathy, insight, and purpose,” Cruz said, framing AI as key to Globe’s vision of being one of the most admired and resilient companies in the country.
