Asticom president and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes has unveiled a forward-looking vision for the Philippine outsourcing industry, one anchored in digital transformation, strategic scalability, and a people-first approach. In a recent interview, she emphasized the growing relevance of AI and tech-enabled services in driving smarter, more efficient B2B solutions—especially in high-demand sectors like telecom, fintech, and logistics.
“Outsourcing today is no longer just about transactions, it’s about transformation,” said Castillo-Reyes, underscoring the shift from traditional service delivery to integrated, intelligent operations. Under her leadership, Asticom—part of the Globe ecosystem—has grown from a five-person team in 2015 to a 4,000-strong workforce serving over 40 industries.
Key to this evolution is AI, which Castillo-Reyes described as an enabler, not a threat. By embedding AI across platforms like NXT, Asticom is helping even SMEs streamline HR, IT, and compliance processes. The company’s international expansion, starting with Australia and New Zealand, aims to bring Filipino excellence to global markets.
As it marks its 10th anniversary, Asticom is also preparing to host Pulse 2025, a leadership forum on the future of B2B innovation. Looking ahead, the company plans to create 15,000 jobs and further position itself as a transformation partner—tech-forward, talent-powered, and purpose-driven.
