St. Luke’s Medical Center, in collaboration with St. Luke’s Foundation, GCash, and Roche, has officially launched “Piso Para sa Kanser: Tuloy ang Laban, Piso ang Pag-asa!”—a nationwide micro-donation campaign to support Filipino cancer patients.
Unveiled during a ceremonial signing at the St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine in Quezon City, the campaign underscores the collective power of small donations, encouraging the public to give as little as ₱1 via the GCash app. Proceeds will directly fund financial aid for cancer patients and support ongoing cancer-related research and projects.
Organizers emphasize the campaign’s broader message: no one should face cancer alone. Each contribution, no matter how small, brings tangible support and renewed hope to families battling this life-threatening disease.
Dr. Arturo De La Peña, president of St. Luke’s Foundation, highlighted the campaign as “a movement of compassion and shared responsibility for a more inclusive and accessible cancer care system in the Philippines.”
Through digital giving, Piso Para sa Kanser turns everyday generosity into a nationwide effort, proving that unity and compassion can empower a fight for survival and healing.
