DITO Telecommunity has been recognized as the fastest mobile network in the Philippines, according to the April 2025 Mobile Network Experience Report by Opensignal, a global authority in mobile analytics. The telco won 14 of 16 national awards, including top honors in 5G experience categories.
The recognition solidifies DITO’s rapid rise in the industry and highlights its strategic investments in next-generation infrastructure, including a fully IP-based network and 5G Standalone (SA) architecture. “The recognition reflects DITO’s unwavering commitment to delivering world-class mobile experiences to Filipinos,” said Eric Alberto, DITO president and CEO.
DITO recorded the fastest 5G download speed at 280.8 Mbps—more than twice that of its closest competitor—and led in 5G upload speeds and overall Wi-Fi experience. It also swept experience-based metrics, topping Video, Games, and Voice App Experience categories.
For consumers, these accolades translate to smoother streaming, faster gaming, and more reliable communications. The telco also topped the Consistent Quality category for the fourth time and maintained its lead in network reliability.
Alberto emphasized that DITO’s vision extends beyond speed: “It’s about how we built a digital-first, future-ready network that can scale, self-optimize, and deliver performance at par with global standards.”
