    Manulife PH wins big at Insurance Asia Awards 2025

    Manulife Philippines, the local arm of global financial services leader Manulife, earned major accolades at the Insurance Asia Awards 2025 held in Singapore, spotlighting the company’s ongoing digital transformation and deepening brand relevance in the Philippine insurance market.

    The insurer was awarded Mobile App of the Year for the Manulife App and Marketing Initiative of the Year for its emotionally resonant Manulife Stories campaign—recognitions that affirm its strategic investments in customer-centric innovation and meaningful engagement.

    “These awards reflect our commitment to becoming the most digital and customer-centric global leader in our industry,” said Sonali Verma, chief marketing officer, Manulife Philippines.

    Launched in 2023, the Manulife App has reached nearly 70 percent customer adoption, with consistently high ratings (4.7 stars on iOS and Android), offering self-service features such as biometric login, real-time fund valuation, online premium payments, and policy access. The app also boosted back-end efficiency, with straight-through processing rates improving by 32 percent year-over-year.

    With new features like Fund Switch and Universal Submission set for release in 2025, the app reinforces Manulife’s leadership in digital insurance service delivery in the Philippines.

    The award-winning Manulife Stories campaign brought the insurer’s global brand message, “Where will better take you,”to life through real customer testimonials. Stories ranged from funding education and IVF to supporting loved ones with special needs, resonating across social and digital platforms. The campaign achieved over 100 million impressions and a 20-point ad recall lift, exceeding industry norms and solidifying Manulife’s positioning as a trusted, purpose-driven brand.

    The Insurance Asia Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the insurance industry across Asia. Manulife Philippines’ dual recognition not only strengthens its corporate reputation but also signals its competitive edge in the increasingly digital and experience-driven insurance landscape.
