Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has strengthened its regional presence in the Bicol region by opening two new business centers in Tabaco City, Albay and Irosin, Sorsogon. The expansion, in partnership with Ravenous Communications Inc., supports the company’s long-term strategy to enhance digital access in underserved areas.
The new hubs aim to deliver improved customer service, including billing, technical support, and new subscriptions, while easing logistical challenges for residents—especially in northern Albay, where users previously traveled up to 45 minutes to the nearest center.
Converge CEO Dennis Anthony Uy emphasized the company’s commitment to bridging the digital divide, saying the initiative targets areas “that need it most,” including remote barangays and islands.
This brings Converge’s total business centers in Bicol to 10, extending support for households and SMEs and reinforcing its role in regional economic development. Talks are ongoing for further expansion into Catanduanes.
