    BAP co-hosts Finance Philippines 2025

The Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) will co-host Finance Philippines 2025 with The Asian Banker, marking a significant convergence of leadership, innovation, and strategy in the Philippine financial sector. The high-level conference will take place on August 14 at the Grand Hyatt Manila, drawing senior banking executives, policy experts, and digital innovators from across the region.

With the theme “Smarter Banks, Bolder Moves: AI and the Future of Finance,” the event highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence, decentralized technologies, and cloud infrastructure in reshaping the country’s financial services landscape.

BAP president Jose Teodoro K. Limcaoco will open the conference and take part in a leadership dialogue focused on steering the future of Philippine banking through sustainability, financial inclusion, and innovation.

“This collaboration with The Asian Banker reflects BAP’s commitment to equipping the industry with the foresight and tools to lead in a digitally transformed, increasingly complex environment,” said Limcaoco.

Sessions will explore emerging technologies including generative AI, digital currencies (CBDCs and stablecoins), cloud-based banking, and decentralized finance (DeFi). The conference also aims to advance discussions on ESG integration, particularly through carbon credit financing and smart financial infrastructures.

By co-hosting Finance Philippines 2025, BAP signals its strategic push to strengthen digital leadership and future-readiness in the banking community, calling on its members to engage actively and leverage global insights for local impact
