Converge ICT Solutions Inc., the only listed fixed broadband company, reported a 12 percent growth in first-half revenue of P21.8 billion, driven by continued expansion in both residential and enterprise segments.
Residential revenues rose 10 percent to P18.4 billion as demand for fixed fiber broadband service remained strong.The company recorded 260,438 net residential fiber additions in the first six months, ending June with 2.82 million subscribers—2.39 million postpaid and 432,000 prepaid.
Enterprise revenues grew even faster, rising 18 percent to P3.4 billion. The wholesale subsegment led growth with a 41 percent increase, backed by an expanding customer base and strong connectivity demand from corporate clients.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization rose 13 percent to P13.5 billion, with a solid margin of 61.8 percent. Net income after tax reached P5.9 billion, up 12 percent from a year ago, for a net income margin of 27.3 percent.
The company also maintained its industry-leading return on invested capital at 17.7 percent, underscoring its operational discipline and capital efficiency.
Converge said it remains focused on broadening its reach nationwide while strengthening its product offerings, including its flagship FiberX, budget-friendly BIDA Fiber, and fast-growing prepaid Surf2Sawa. It also officially launched Super FiberX, its next-generation connectivity solution that delivers enhanced speed, value, and reliability, featuring WiFi-6 technology, bundled access to SkyTV, and integration with the Converge Xperience Hub — a digital platform enhancing customer service and network management.
Total cash capital expenditures in the first half reached P4.2 billion.
