Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez receives from Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman the ₱6.793-trillion National Expenditure Program (NEP) for 2026 during a simple turnover ceremony at the Romualdez Hall, House of Representatives, Wednesday morning.
In his message, Speaker Romualdez said the House has instituted reforms in the budget process to ensure it is “transparent, inclusive, and worthy of public trust,” vowing that every peso in the budget will correspond to actual services rendered for the benefit of the Filipino people.
