    Data fuels Globe’s growth

Mobile data continues to power Globe Telecom’s corporate momentum, now contributing 86 percent of its mobile revenue, underscoring its central role in both commercial success and national digital transformation.

In its 2Q 2025 report, Globe revealed a 7 percent quarter-on-quarter increase in mobile data traffic, driven by expanding 5G use and hyper-personalized customer offers. Average daily mobile usage has surged 58 percent since December 2024, with users consuming 33 percent more data on average, signaling richer digital lifestyles across the country.

Globe’s core net income jumped 30 percent from the previous quarter, supported by improved yields and deeper engagement across its digital platforms. Over 90 percent of its mobile base now receives tailored offers, enabling relevant, real-time experiences that align with evolving digital behaviors.

“The way we use data today is a mipror of how we live,” said Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz, emphasizing that mobile connectivity is now embedded in work, learning, payments, and social interactions. “Our goal is to make those digital experiences seamless, safe, and rewarding for everyone, wherever they are.”

Globe’s investment in digital infrastructure and self-service tools like the GlobeOne app reinforces its commitment to inclusive access, empowering users to manage data, rewards, and promos independently. Prepaid users remain a key growth segment, benefiting from value-packed offers and nationwide network reach.

As Globe deepens its focus on mobile data monetization, it positions itself not just as a telco, but as a digital enabler for millions of Filipinos navigating an increasingly connected future.
