The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) concluded a high-level bilateral meeting today, reaffirming their commitment to closer cooperation in central banking and financial innovation.
In a statement, the BSP said the meeting, led by BSP Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr. and NBC Governor Chea Serey, focused on key policy areas including cross-border payment initiatives, the use of artificial intelligence in financial services, and strategies to combat financial fraud.
The discussions underscored both institutions’ shared goal to enhance payment system interoperability and promote innovation, while addressing common challenges in the evolving financial landscape.
