McDonald’s Philippines Founder and Chairman Dr. George T. Yang has opened the 52nd Bahay Bulilit Learning Center in Barangay Poblacion, Biñan, Laguna, through Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Philippines.
The new center will offer free early education to 90–100 children aged 2–4 each year and includes a learning area, reading nook, hygiene facilities, and educational materials. It will be managed by the City Social Work and Development Office.
During the turnover on October 24, Dr. Yang led the ceremony with local officials, including mayor Angelo Alonte and barangay captain Lloyd Castelltort.
“It takes a community to raise a child,” said Dr. Yang. “I hope this Bahay Bulilit becomes a safe and happy place where learning begins and dreams take root.”
With 52 centers nationwide, RMHC’s Bahay Bulilit program now supports over 5,000 children each year, providing safe spaces for early learning in underserved communities.
The celebration featured a storytelling session with Ronald McDonald and special meals for daycare students.
