The Jollibee Group has received a BBB MSCI ESG Rating, signaling stronger management of environmental, social, and governance risks across its global operations. MSCI ESG Ratings range from CCC to AAA and assess how effectively companies handle key sustainability issues compared with industry peers.
Global chief sustainability officer Pepot Miñana said the recognition reflects the company’s collective efforts to deliver measurable ESG impact and its commitment to continuously improving its sustainability practices.
The rating highlights progress under Jollibee’s Joy for Tomorrow sustainability agenda, which focuses on food quality, people development, and environmental stewardship. Recent achievements include extensive food safety audits and a Net Promoter Score of 93; multiple workplace and governance awards; expanded hiring of senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and smallholder farmers; the installation of 16,800 solar panels generating 9.1 megawatts of clean energy; significant waste diversion from landfills; and the planting of 21,500 mangrove propagules.
Jollibee Group also secured the top spot among Philippine brands in the 2025 Sustainability Perceptions Index and ranked among the world’s leading restaurant brands. Its sustainability reporting earned further recognition through the 3G Excellence in Sustainability Reporting Award and a bronze award at the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards, reinforcing the company’s long-term ESG commitment.
