Anko opens 5th store in Metro Manila, eyes expansion

Australia’s home and lifestyle brand Anko, backed by the Ayala Group, has opened its fifth store in the Philippines, located at Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig. The new 1,570-square-meter branch aims to reach more shoppers in the eastern part of Metro Manila and nearby areas in Rizal.

Anko Global CEO Arjun Puri said the brand has enjoyed “strong and steady” growth in its first year in the country, with customer traffic and repeat purchases exceeding expectations. While the company did not disclose sales figures, Puri said the Philippines is becoming one of Anko’s most promising international markets.

Puri added that the Philippines serves as a key testbed for the company’s direct-to-consumer approach. Although Anko has been expanding with the help of Ayala Malls, he noted that the brand is now also opening stores outside the Ayala network, focusing on locations that match its community-centered identity.

In its first year, Anko has opened branches in TriNoma, Alabang Town Center, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and now Feliz, building its presence across Metro Manila.

Anko Philippines country manager Rachel Turner said the brand’s continued expansion shows its strong connection with local shoppers. She highlighted plans to offer more in-store experiences, especially during the Christmas season.

Beyond physical stores, Anko is strengthening customer engagement through its Anko Club App, which now has over 36,000 members. Turner said the company will enhance the app’s rewards and activities in 2026, including exclusive events, workshops, and product updates.
