    PAL relaunches Manila–Sapporo winter flights

Philippine Airlines has resumed its seasonal nonstop service between Manila and Sapporo, operating from November 24, 2025 to March 27, 2026. The route, flown every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on a 168-seater Airbus A321neo, aims to capture strong winter travel demand between the Philippines and Japan.

PAL President Richard Nuttall said the airline’s return to Sapporo helps expand its presence in Japan while offering travelers PAL’s “world-class service and heartfelt hospitality.” The restored route also gives Japanese visitors easier access to the Philippines’ beaches, culture, and warm weather.

For Filipino travelers, Sapporo—capital of Hokkaido—is a winter favorite known for its lively city scene, famous Snow Festival, top-tier ski resorts, and well-loved dishes like Sapporo ramen, soup curry, and fresh seafood.

With this seasonal service, PAL strengthens its position as the Philippine carrier with the widest network to Japan, offering flights to Osaka Kansai, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita, plus direct services from Cebu to Osaka Kansai and Tokyo Narita.
