JinNavitas Solaris Inc. (Solaris), the renewable energy unit of the JoyNostalg Group, has turned over its first community assistance support package to residents of Pasinaya Homes Prime Central in Naic, Cavite.
The housing project hosts a 4.95-megawatt AC NING*NING solar power facility, described as the world’s first grid-connected, utility-scale solar project built on socialized housing rooftops. The Community Assurance Support is a contract-based program that provides annual community benefits in exchange for the use of rooftops under a long-term usufruct agreement.
The turnover ceremony, attended by officials from the Department of Energy, Pag-IBIG Fund, local government, and community leaders, marks the first release of benefits under the project’s 50-year term. The support includes safety and security improvements such as motorcycle patrols, radios, and CCTV systems, as well as upgrades to daycare facilities, schools, health centers, clubhouses, and play areas.
Solaris said the program is being implemented with Extraordinary Enclaves and the Joy~Nostalg Foundation to ensure that clean energy projects also deliver direct benefits to host communities. Company officials said the initiative shows their commitment to improving community life alongside expanding renewable energy.
