Priority banking, special deposit rates extended to SRRV retirees

Security Bank Corporation has entered into an agreement with the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) to extend priority banking privileges and a special time deposit rate to foreign and returning Filipino retirees applying for the Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV).

Under the partnership, SRRV applicants can open a Security Bank account as part of the visa application process and gain access to an exclusive time deposit rate, along with priority onboarding and dedicated relationship management. The arrangement is designed to make banking easier and more secure for retirees who are settling in the Philippines.

Account opening and servicing for SRRV clients will be handled through Security Bank’s Reposo–J.P. Rizal Branch in Makati City, which serves as the bank’s dedicated hub for retiree clients.

The initiative highlights Security Bank’s continued focus on tailored financial solutions for specific client segments, particularly retirees who require reliable banking services, personalized support, and competitive deposit options.

For the wider banking public, the partnership underscores how banks are increasingly offering specialized products and preferential rates to meet the needs of niche markets, especially those bringing long-term deposits into the Philippine financial system.
