BPI backs travel as a way for Filipinos to learn, grow

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is supporting travel not just as leisure, but as a way for Filipinos to learn, build stronger family ties, and support tourism and local economies. BPI is the official bank partner of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) 33rd Travel Tour Expo, happening from February 6 to 8, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

BPI said travel helps people gain new experiences, understand different cultures, and grow personally. By working with PTAA, the bank aims to make travel more accessible through practical and secure financial options. During the expo, BPI and Robinsons Bank cardholders get early access and free entry, as well as flexible payment plans, including installment options that allow travelers to manage costs while still pursuing meaningful trips.

The bank is also offering rewards, discounts, and travel-related benefits such as lounge access, low foreign exchange fees, travel insurance, and faster rewards or miles earning. These benefits are meant to help Filipinos travel more comfortably and confidently, whether for local trips that support Philippine tourism or overseas journeys that broaden global exposure.

BPI said its partnership with PTAA highlights how banks can support everyday aspirations by giving more people access to financial tools. For Filipinos, travel becomes more than a vacation—it becomes an opportunity to learn, connect with family, and contribute to economic growth at home and abroad.
