    Bengzon appointed chairman and CEO of ICCP

    Investment and Capital Corp. of the Philippines (ICCP) has named Augusto D. Bengzon, a former top executive at Ayala Land Inc., as its new chairman and chief executive officer.

    Bengzon previously served as chief finance officer of Ayala Land, where he helped strengthen the company’s finances, improve investor relations and support its expansion into various real estate sectors. Before joining Ayala Land, he spent 18 years in financial services, including 16 years at Citibank, working across consumer, corporate and investment banking. He also served as Ayala Land’s treasurer prior to becoming CFO.

    He has received several local and international awards for his leadership in finance and corporate governance. These include recognition as the Philippines’ Best CFO by Institutional Investor and Corporate Treasurer, ING-FINEX CFO of the Year and Best Corporate CFO in Southeast Asia by Finance Asia. During his time at Ayala Land, the company earned two consecutive 5-Golden Arrow Awards and ranked among the Top 20 ASEAN companies for corporate governance.

    Bengzon has also taken on leadership roles in professional organizations. He served as president of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) in 2024 and is currently chairman of both the FINEX Foundation and FINEX Academy.

    He holds a business management degree from Ateneo de Manila University and a master’s degree in business management from the Asian Institute of Management.

    ICCP said Bengzon’s strong background in finance, governance and strategic leadership is expected to support the company’s long-term growth plans.
