Globe Telecom pushes reliable, affordable connectivity at The Blueprint 2026

Globe Telecom on Thursday opened the year with a strong message: internet service should be reliable, affordable, and easy to access — not just fast.

At its flagship quarterly media event, “The Blueprint by Globe,” held at The Globe Tower, the company said connectivity is now a basic lifeline for Filipinos. With the theme “Every Filipino Connected,” Globe outlined new technologies, partnerships, and programs aimed at helping more people join the digital economy.

One of the key highlights was Globe’s partnership with Starlink to use Direct-to-Cell satellite technology. After a successful live pilot test, Globe and Starlink plan to expand trials to more areas and different operating conditions.

Globe also announced it was recognized by Ookla as the Philippines’ most reliable mobile and broadband network. The award was based on high consistency scores, reinforcing Globe’s focus on dependable service.

Roche Vandenberghe, Globe’s Chief Marketing Officer, said the recognition shows that the company’s investments are delivering real benefits to customers, especially for work, learning, and business. She added that reliable connectivity supports small businesses, families, and communities, helping drive inclusive growth.

Through Globe Business, the company introduced the country’s first fully managed, enterprise-grade data streaming platform in partnership with Confluent. It also launched the Globe Omnichannel Cloud Contact Center with Call Center Studio, powered by Google Cloud infrastructure.

These services aim to help businesses use real-time data and artificial intelligence without large upfront costs.

Globe At Home is promoting fiber internet as a basic household utility, similar to water and electricity. Through its Built-in Broadband program, fiber ports are installed directly in new property developments. The service also includes AI-driven tools and a 24-hour Care Squad for customer support.

Customers who bundle GFiber Postpaid with Globe Mobile Postpaid can save up to ₱500 per month for a year. Prepaid and TM users can also access exclusive promos and free data offers.

Budget brand TM is celebrating its 25th anniversary with special deals, rewards, and nationwide caravans, highlighting its focus on affordable connectivity.

For premium subscribers, Globe introduced the Platinum GPlan with a promo tied to Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles, allowing customers to earn airline miles along with mobile benefits.

Through the GoGIVE feature on the GlobeOne app, Globe Prepaid users generated over 4 billion “hearts,” converting more than ₱840 million into donations for partner groups. These include Ayala Foundation, Rise Against Hunger Philippines, Pawssion Project, and Philippine Eagle Foundation. The program also supports disaster relief efforts.

Globe chief commercial cfficer Darius Delgado said connectivity today is essential, especially for people in remote areas. He stressed that Globe’s goal is to build trust, inclusivity, and resilience into its network.

With its 2026 blueprint, Globe said it aims to help build a digital nation where reliable internet access creates more opportunities for all Filipinos.
