Jollibee subsidiary acquires Korea’s leading hot pot chain

Jollibee Foods Corporation’s subsidiary, Jolli‑K Co., Ltd., will fully acquire All Day Fresh Co., Ltd., the operator of South Korea’s top hot pot brand, Shabu All Day, in a deal valued at around US$87 million.

Shabu All Day runs 169 stores across South Korea and is a market leader in store count, sales, and per-store revenue. Known for its all-inclusive hot pot dining experience—including premium beef, a wide range of side dishes, unlimited desserts, and alcoholic drinks—the chain has strong profit margins and a quick 2–3-year payback period thanks to its franchised model.

For Jollibee, the acquisition strengthens its presence in Korea and expands its reach into the fast-growing global hot pot segment. The company expects the brand to immediately boost revenues and earnings, while supporting its broader international business growth.

Consumers in Korea can expect continued access to Shabu All Day’s premium dining experience, while Jollibee positions itself to benefit from rising global demand for experiential dining. The deal also deepens Jollibee’s partnership with Elevation Equity Partners, which will retain a 30 percent stake and contribute local market expertise.

Jollibee Group chairman Tony Tan Caktiong said the move reflects the company’s focus on scalable, profitable businesses that create long-term value.
